Wedding Ceremony Programs

We’re BACK (from a quick honeymoon, that is) and ready to share some of our wedding stationery with you!  In due time, we’ll show you everything Jen personalized (and commissioned!) for the wedding day: the Save-the-Dates (magnets!), Invitations (letterpress!), Welcome Letters (gray & pink!), Escort Cards (calligraphy!) and Menus (fried chicken!).  Jen’s bridesmaids also used custom PosePrints for her Bridal Shower Invitations (well, they had to — sorta).

Above all, Jen’s favorite PosePrints-made paper at her wedding were the wedding ceremony programs.  We can’t wait until the professional photos are back (which should do the programs justice), but ’til then, check them out!  Here’s the cover in — you guessed it! — gray and white stripes:

Like the “staging” of the photograph?!  Yeah, me neither.  Moving on…

And here’s the inside of the ceremony program — the best part! (If you want to see this as a bigger image, simply click on it — or click over to our Facebook page and check out our photo albums.)

The ceremony program is a tri-fold card (measuring 15″ x 5″, so 5″ square when folded) printed on 110-lb. bright white paper, and features cute, personalized caricatures of the bride and groom, officiant and bridal party.  If you look closely, you can see the bridesmaids’ custom earrings (gotta love Etsy), groomsmen’s gray gingham ties, and ring bearers’ pink gingham ties.  You probably don’t know any of these people, but take it from me — they look like them!

Interested in a custom PosePrints Wedding Ceremony Program for your big day?  We’ll be adding them to the site soon, but until then, click here to contact us for information regarding placing an order.

Our Website Redesign!

A couple of weeks ago, we revealed our “new” website — designed by yours truly.  As our big 4th birthday was approaching, we were ready for our website to have an updated look.  Now I’ve never had any formal training in website design, but I think you’ll agree that the overall feel is brighter, cleaner…and better!

Take a look at the comparison.  Here’s our home page, before and after:

…and the Product Detail page, before and after:

…and the Design-Your-Caricature page, before and after:

The biggest change we made was adding the “View All” button next to the hair scrollbar (which, as you might remember, took…um…awhile to scroll through).  We will be adding this functionality to all of the scrollers before too long.  Head over to our website and check it out: now, you can click the “View All” button and see all of your options!  When you’ve selected the right feature for your custom caricature, you just click the pink “x” to close out of it.  So much easier, right?!

Here’s what else we did:

  • We added “breadcrumbs”, which are those pink circles you see on the left-hand side of the screen, letting you know which step you are on when you’re creating your card.  This reminds you how quick and simple it is to create your personalized caricature cards, magnets and notepads!  4 easy steps!
  • Buttons changed from HTML (boring) to images (fun!).  Check out the “Personalize this Design” button above, for an example.  We went for bright pink and turquoise, because those colors go with everything, right? 😉
  • We changed the header to include brighter colors — and caricatures in our logo.  When we first created the site, I remember thinking we should keep the Navigation Bars and overall design pretty neutral, since the caricatures and our products are full of bright colors.  I’ve since changed my mind.  Can’t have too much color if you’re working with caricature cards!  Do you agree?
  • Next up: We’re adding a “Missing Something?” button to our Create-Your-Caricature page.  This will let you know that if you don’t see something you’re looking for, we can create it for you!

And, if you remember, we added this bright design to our card options in honor of the big redesign.

What do you think?  Do you like our new website design?

New Golf Design

Check it out!  We were getting a little bored with our old Golf design (called “Tee Time” — yeah, we were sick of the name, too), so we changed it up!  Here’s the new card design:

And here’s the old one:

Do you like the new one better?  Be honest!  The new card features a golf course, greens, and golf flags, and makes a cute invitation (for golf tournaments, charity events at the country club, birthday parties at the golf course…even bachelor and bachelorette parties!), stationery gift for your favorite golfer, and Save-the-Date card.

Don’t forget to completely prep out your Golf cards and invitations by adding your polo shirts, visors, sunglasses, and sweater sets.  And, as always, let us know if you don’t see a specific feature you’re looking for.  You know we’ll create it for you!

“Like” your favorite PosePrint!

Big news!  We’ve added Facebook LIKE buttons to PosePrints’ product pages!  Check it out:

I know this isn’t the most groundbreaking functionality you’ve ever seen, but we’re pretty excited about it.  And we promise to like you forever if you head over to our website, find your favorite stationery design (card, notepad or magnet!), and LIKE IT!

Want to know my favorite?  It’s the London card.  Probably ’cause it took me a thousand hours to draw (yeah, I didn’t go to art school — sue me), and I’m sort of British, you know.

Graduates: Choose Your Colors!

Congratulations to the Class of 2011!  It’s time to design and send out your Graduation Announcements, Graduation Party Invitations, personalized Graduation Gifts and Thank You Notes…featuring a custom, look-alike caricature of the graduate, of course!

Click here to select your background design and begin putting together the caricature of your graduate.  Since we can’t possibly offer every color combination of cap, tassel and gown, please let us know which colors you would like in the Comments section at check-out.  We’ll change any color and promptly send you a proof to approve before we print.

Oh, and for your entertainment, I’ve posted a copy of the invitation I created for MY high school Graduation Party on our Facebook page!  Check it out here.  It’s from (dare I say it?) 1999.  There is, um, a LOT going on there — I obviously hadn’t yet refined my caricature-stationery-drawing skills.  Gotta love that I included rainbows and cats.  Priorities.

*Remember to “like” PosePrints on Facebook to find a special discount code worth 10% off any PosePrints order!*

Congrats, Grads!

You…in Alexander McQueen…in London!

So, we were WAY off in our prediction of Kate and William’s wedding outfits.  I think the only thing I guessed right was Kate’s lace.  Here’s a more accurate depiction:

In honor of last Friday’s Royal Wedding, we’re introducing our new London design!  Click here to check it out and create your own personalized London cards — a cute option for London-themed Save-the-Dates, Moving Announcements, and Thank You Notes.

And, if you haven’t had enough of the Royal Wedding  (I know I haven’t.  Not even close.), we’ve added Kate’s gorgeous lace Alexander McQueen gown and William’s red jacket to the PosePrints features!  Oh, and Kate’s sapphire ring is in there, too.  So strike a royal pose — like the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge!

Royal PosePrints!

Only three days left until the Royal Wedding…”The Wedding of the Century”…the nuptials of Prince William and Kate Middleton!

Here is our best interpretation of how Will and Kate’s PosePrints would look.  Shockingly, they didn’t order their Save-the-Dates from us, but perhaps they’ll be contacting us about custom Thank You Notes. 😉  Here’s a version featuring a London background (coming soon!), a custom suit (with rumored red tie) for Will, a lace dress for Kate, and the famous sapphire-and-diamond engagement ring that belonged to Diana, Princess of Wales.

We’ll be back next week with a more accurate depiction of William and Kate’s caricatures when we announce the launch of our London design!

Kentucky Derby Invitations

We created this custom Kentucky Derby Party invitation for a local, Derby-themed charity event.  It was inspired by the “Couture” line of our packaged cards — definitely a different style than our standard PosePrints caricatures!

We’re in the process of adding some Kentucky Derby-themed accessories to PosePrints: mint juleps, big hats, and seersucker suits!  Are we missing anything?  Let us know on our Facebook Wall!

Wine Country Cards

We’re incredibly lucky to be headquartered an hour from the stunning vineyards and wineries of Napa Valley — the inspiration behind our new “Wine Country” design!  Perfect for Wedding Save-the-Dates, Bachelorette Party Invitations, Bridal Shower Invitations, Rehearsal Dinner Invitations or Thank You Notes, this design features rolling green vineyards and a bit of blue sky.

Getting married at a winery outside of Napa Valley?  Hosting a wine tasting at your home?  Throwing a wine tour bus for someone’s birthday?  Wonderful!  Whether your event is in Sonoma County, Santa Barbara County, the Russian River Valley, Walla Walla, the Willamette Valley, the Hudson Valley, Tuscany (yes, please!) or your backyard — this card is your cutest option for invitations or Save-the-Dates.
