Making A Pose Your Facebook Profile Pic

We have received a few inquiries lately regarding how to make a PosePrints “Avatar” into a Facebook Profile Pic.  (We call it a “pose” as opposed to an “avatar” but we’ll call it an avatar in this post — ’cause that’s what the cool kids are calling it.)  We’re working on making this process more streamlined (via a Facebook app, perhaps?!), but until then, here’s how you can make your PosePrints avatar into your Facebook (or Pinterest…or Twitter) Profile Pic:

Here’s how to make a “pose” your Facebook Profile Pic:

1. Select any PosePrints product to begin (it doesn’t matter what it is) and click the pink “Personalize This Design” button.

2. Customize your avatar and click the blue “Save Pose” button.

3. Click the “Save For Facebook” button that pops up to the right of your avatar.

4. Enter in your name and email address on the next page.

5.  Check your email for your “PosePrints MyPose Confirmation” and click the link in the email.

6. Click the link at the bottom of that page (below where it says “Please enter this link into your Facebook profile for it to appear on your page!”).

7. Right-click on your avatar and save it to your desktop.

8. Upload it as your Profile Pic!

I know eight steps seems like a lot, but it’s actually a pretty quick process.  And we’re working diligently to make it quicker and easier for you!

Thanks for striking a pose on Facebook!

P.S. You can also post an avatar to your (or a friend’s) Facebook Timeline or post PosePrints e-cards to your/friend’s Facebook Walls.  We’ll leave those instructions for another day, though…
