Notepads and Business Cards–the PosePrints way!

We had a great summer at PosePrints, with celebrating our 7th birthday and the unusually warm weather in the Bay Area! School is fully in swing for those with children (or for teachers!) and people are planning their winter vacations. That search for the perfect back-to-school or birthday present as the holiday season approaches is upon us—and of course treating yourself to something special is so important as it gets colder and busier at home and work.

At PosePrints, we are proud of our unique, high quality customizable products—and that means more than just invitations and save-the-dates! We have a great selection of stationery choices aside from our trademark customizable invitations. Stylish, high quality and affordable products, in fact! PosePrints’ speciality is our unique and fun customizable stationery but luckily we’ve got so many other fun products that give you an extra bit of individual flair wherever you may be.

The important kids in your life can use one of our customized notepads for class or for writing notes to friends. You can create notepads for your holiday planning or for keeping a chic grocery list. Our business cards and thank you notes create an elegant addition to any business suite for the talented entrepreneur who can use some extra oomph! The best part is that our caricatures come in a diverse range of customizable options and include children as well as adults so anyone you know (you included!) can find themselves on their own customizable, unique and fun paper products!

As with all our designs you choose from our diverse range of caricature options to create a look-alike with fun props, accessories and that just-right hair color. You choose your eye color, jewelry and backdrop! Your caricature can then grace our notepads (perfect for any stylish kid or teen who’s looking to stand out) or business cards for the chic professionals in your life.

It’s a great time to think about how you can really reflect who you are with our customized PosePrints products—at work and at home! We all deserve stationery and paper goods that reflect how stylish we are—teachers, business women, parents, and students!

Hazel Eyes

Big news: we’ve added the option of hazel eyes to the PosePrints caricatures!  I don’t know what took us so long (considering I have hazel eyes myself…*), but here we are with FOUR eye color options for your personalized characters and custom stationery.  Brown!  Green!  Blue!  And now…HAZEL!

Now don’t get me wrong.  We’ve had lots of people ask us to change their caricatures’ eye color to hazel, so there are plenty of cards, magnets and other PosePrints stationery floating around that feature hazel-eyed poses.  But now it’s official.  Personalized stationery for our hazel-eyed friends.

Is there an eye color I’m missing?  Turquoisey-blue?  Deep, deep brown?  Yellow cat eyes for Halloween?

*(Note to self: must order new business cards and thank you notes.)

Before it all began…

The idea behind PosePrints came to fruition over time — a long time, actually.  Back in the early ’90s, Denise (mom) used to send off Jen’s (daughter) drawings to Hallmark, hoping the obnoxiously-colorful-and-busy animal drawings would pique the corporation’s interest.  That obviously did not happen.

Then, post-college, Jen started working in advertising sales with an awesome group of (mostly) ladies in NYC.  With an entry-level salary, Jen couldn’t afford to buy anything fine enough for her co-workers, so she would instead made them birthday cards featuring their look-alike caricatures.  They loved them (or at least told her they did).  With that inspiration, Jen and Denise decided they would turn personalized caricature cards into a business plan.  Voila!

Jen really misses her old co-workers.  Aren’t they lovely?  (Names withheld to protect identities. ;) )
