Florida Bride + PosePrints

We at PosePrints have been featured in Florida Bride Magazine! We are so thrilled to have this shout-out from such a great, fun, and helpful magazine, and we hope our Florida Bride readers who haven’t heard of us before stop by and have some fun on our site!

{Florida Bride Magazine}

The great part of being an internet-based company is that we are able to share our custom invitations, stationery, save-the-dates and all our unique caricature products globally—we may be based in San Francisco, but the good news is that anyone can order one of our products from their home and receive high-quality paper products within 3-5 days. We are so happy that all our Florida Brides can now create customizable, unique stationery and wedding programs that celebrate their special day. Brides all over are busy planning their special day and PosePrints is a way to make that process quick, fun, creative and different than run-of-the-mill invitations, save the dates and more.

The feature goes a little into the background of our company–Jen and her mother Denise used their skills as creative and business-savvy women to create a mother-daughter company that has been thriving since 2007. We are happy to know our company is flourishing and continues to reach creative brides all over–the type of bride who knows that her special day should be one to remember! With all of our products, you get to choose it all: eyebrows, hair color, lipstick, eye shape, hairstyle, accessories and clothing, and an unforgettable, unique and 100% customizable backdrop. We hope any readers from Florida Bride who decide to stop by have a blast trying out all the amazing options on our site and that invitation to play around to find the perfect match when it comes to your wedding extends to all our amazing brides the world over!

{We hope you have fun at PosePrints.Com!}

Hazel Eyes

Big news: we’ve added the option of hazel eyes to the PosePrints caricatures!  I don’t know what took us so long (considering I have hazel eyes myself…*), but here we are with FOUR eye color options for your personalized characters and custom stationery.  Brown!  Green!  Blue!  And now…HAZEL!

Now don’t get me wrong.  We’ve had lots of people ask us to change their caricatures’ eye color to hazel, so there are plenty of cards, magnets and other PosePrints stationery floating around that feature hazel-eyed poses.  But now it’s official.  Personalized stationery for our hazel-eyed friends.

Is there an eye color I’m missing?  Turquoisey-blue?  Deep, deep brown?  Yellow cat eyes for Halloween?

*(Note to self: must order new business cards and thank you notes.)

PosePrints Instagram

We’re on Instagram (@PosePrints)!

PosePrints has been Instagramming (Is that a word? Sure.) for a few weeks now, posting a pic a day.  Our Instagram collection includes photos of our products, our office(s), our personal lives, and behind-the-scenes images of what makes our little stationery company tick.  And since Jen is the one managing the account, there is the inevitable (and occasional — promise!) photo of her baby boy.

Follow us on Instagram at @PosePrints.  And if you feel so inclined, please add photos of your PosePrints products (and tag us with @PosePrints or #PosePrints) so we know who our biggest fans are!  We’ll be running some giveaways and contests via Instagram, too.

P.S. In case you were curious, “Walden” is our favorite filter.  What’s yours?

$1 New Designs

We’re like the dollar store over here — giving away magnificent products for just 100 pennies a piece!  Really, though: through the end of April, our new spring card designs — Cherry Blossoms and Balloons — are $1.00 a piece.

That’s $15 for a set of personalized stationery.  For your mom.  For Mother’s Day!  Click here to personalize our Balloons card, and click here to personalize our Cherry Blossoms card.

And pssst: we might be offering a Mother’s Day discount in the coming days.  Make sure you’re signed up for our newsletter to get the code!

You…in Alexander McQueen…in London!

So, we were WAY off in our prediction of Kate and William’s wedding outfits.  I think the only thing I guessed right was Kate’s lace.  Here’s a more accurate depiction:

In honor of last Friday’s Royal Wedding, we’re introducing our new London design!  Click here to check it out and create your own personalized London cards — a cute option for London-themed Save-the-Dates, Moving Announcements, and Thank You Notes.

And, if you haven’t had enough of the Royal Wedding  (I know I haven’t.  Not even close.), we’ve added Kate’s gorgeous lace Alexander McQueen gown and William’s red jacket to the PosePrints features!  Oh, and Kate’s sapphire ring is in there, too.  So strike a royal pose — like the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge!

Wine Country Cards

We’re incredibly lucky to be headquartered an hour from the stunning vineyards and wineries of Napa Valley — the inspiration behind our new “Wine Country” design!  Perfect for Wedding Save-the-Dates, Bachelorette Party Invitations, Bridal Shower Invitations, Rehearsal Dinner Invitations or Thank You Notes, this design features rolling green vineyards and a bit of blue sky.

Getting married at a winery outside of Napa Valley?  Hosting a wine tasting at your home?  Throwing a wine tour bus for someone’s birthday?  Wonderful!  Whether your event is in Sonoma County, Santa Barbara County, the Russian River Valley, Walla Walla, the Willamette Valley, the Hudson Valley, Tuscany (yes, please!) or your backyard — this card is your cutest option for invitations or Save-the-Dates.

Bouquets, Boutonnieres & Lace

In honor of Valentine’s Day, we’re sharing our newest PosePrints features with you: roses and lace!

Made especially for wedding stationery, our newest features include bouquets of roses (in red, pink and white*), cute boutonnieres (also in red, pink and white*) and lace wedding gowns.  Make your Save-the-Date Cards, Save-the-Date Magnets, Bridal Shower Invitations, Rehearsal Dinner Invitations, Couples Wedding Shower Invitations, Wedding Thank You Notes even more custom — and more “you.”

Head over to the PosePrints website now to create your personalized, rose-and-lace-clad caricatures!

*Want your caricature’s boutonniere or bouquet in a color other than red, pink or white?  Just submit your order and make mention of the color you want in the Comments section at check-out.  We’ll change it for you and send you a proof at no additional charge!

PosePets: Norwich Terrier

For a custom stationery order (and in honor of my favorite dog in my favorite movie, “Best in Show”), I recently drew up a little Norwich Terrier.  It’s a Norwich — and not a Norfolk — ’cause of its pointy little ears.  See?

What do you think?

Before it all began…

The idea behind PosePrints came to fruition over time — a long time, actually.  Back in the early ’90s, Denise (mom) used to send off Jen’s (daughter) drawings to Hallmark, hoping the obnoxiously-colorful-and-busy animal drawings would pique the corporation’s interest.  That obviously did not happen.

Then, post-college, Jen started working in advertising sales with an awesome group of (mostly) ladies in NYC.  With an entry-level salary, Jen couldn’t afford to buy anything fine enough for her co-workers, so she would instead made them birthday cards featuring their look-alike caricatures.  They loved them (or at least told her they did).  With that inspiration, Jen and Denise decided they would turn personalized caricature cards into a business plan.  Voila!

Jen really misses her old co-workers.  Aren’t they lovely?  (Names withheld to protect identities. 😉 )
