Pink + Blue Save-the-Date Magnets

One of our most popular card designs — “Pinks + Blues” — is now a magnet option in the PosePrints shop!  Our new “Pink + Blue Magnet” is nearly identical to its card sister, and is printed on our awesome, top-quality magnet materials.

Our magnets measure 4″ x 3,” are printed using a special four-step printing process, and the quality is unlike anything we’ve seen in the Save-the-Date marketplace.  They’re a far cry from the magnets that look like someone’s glued a card to a magnet strip.  You know what I’m talking about.

Want to see it before you believe it?  We’re always happy to send a free sample of one of our magnets to you so you can check out the quality.  Just ask!

Also, you know what I’m loving right now?  Magnets as invitations.  At $2.50/each, our magnets are only slightly more expensive than our cards, and they make a longer-lasting impression (i.e. they make the front side of the fridge, not a drawer).  Think about it: magnets for kids’ parties, birthday party invitations, engagement party invitations, company party invitations, or anniversary party invitations.  What do you think?  Just make sure you can pin down your event details and order in advance; our magnets take between 5 and 10 business days to print!

Modern Bridal Faire

My mom and I are headed back to our hometown of Pleasanton, California for the Modern Bridal Faire this Sunday, August 5th!

We’ve been wanting to exhibit PosePrints at a Pleasanton bridal show for awhile now (I grew up in Pleasanton and lived there until I left for college, and my mom lived there for 25+ years), so we’re thrilled it’s finally here!  We’ll be exhibiting all of our custom caricature wedding products at the show: Save-the-Date Cards, Save-the-Date Magnets, Rehearsal Dinner Invitations, Thank You Notes, Couples Wedding Shower Invitations, Bridal Shower Invitations, Bachelorette Party Invitations, Wedding Tags, and Wedding Ceremony Programs.

If you know any newly engaged brides and grooms attending the Modern Bridal Faire, please let them know about PosePrints’ booth!  We can’t wait to meet everyone — and see some familiar Pleasanton faces, too!

Our personalized ‘Green Polka-Dots‘ Save-the-Date card is featured in the Bridal Insider section of the latest issue.  In a feature titled “Pencil It In!” Bridal Guide presents “new ideas in Save-the-Dates [that] are sure to make your guests accept with pleasure.”  We’re flattered to be mentioned among other super-creative Save-the-Date options, including a letterpress coaster and a card with a real cocktail umbrella attached! Would you kindly save the date?!

Save the date of July 19, 2012 to celebrate PosePrints’ 5th anniversary!  Our little stationery company is turning five, and it’s a perfect excuse for a celebration.  We’re having an evening cocktail party in San Francisco to celebrate with our local friends, fans and loyal customers.

Are you living in the Bay Area and interested in attending our birthday party?  If so, please contact us through Facebook (or email us at Friends @ PosePrints . com) and let us know.  If you provide us with your mailing address, we will pop one of these snazzy Save-the-Date magnets in the mail (printed on our regular PosePrints magnet materials) and follow up with a “formal” invitation as the date gets closer.

For those of you who cannot make it to the party, we will have a little Facebook celebration with you on July 17th — our actual 5th birthday.  So make sure to “like” our page!

Style Me Pretty

PosePrints was featured in Style Me Pretty!

Well, it was our wedding that was featured, but PosePrints-made stationery enjoyed its Style Me Pretty debut.

Our wedding paper “suite” wasn’t entirely cohesive, because we were set on a few “musts”:

  • A Craigslist theme for the Save-the-Dates
  • Letterpress for the invitations
  • PosePrints caricatures for the programs

Real Weddings

Did you use PosePrints for your wedding Save-the-Dates, Bridal Shower Invitations, Bachelorette Party Invitations, Wedding Ceremony Programs or Thank You Notes?

If so, we are in the process of adding a “Real Weddings” section to our blog, and would be delighted if you would be a part of it.  PosePrints Real Weddings will feature just that: real weddings of our beloved customers who used PosePrints as part of their wedding days.  Not only will this be a way for us to share how our products reflect the wedded couple, but it’s also a way for you to compile a beautiful profile of your wedding photos and wedding day details. It will allow you to give much-deserved exposure to your wedding vendors, too!  Please click below the jump for an idea of what a Real Weddings post will look like.

To submit your wedding for consideration, please email Real_Weddings {at} PosePrints.com with the following:

  • Personal Info: Your name, your fiance’s name, your wedding date and venue
  • Photos: Send us 2-30 images of your wedding or event.  Images must be high resolution — at least 600px wide. (More photos you send = better chance we’ll post about your event!  Also, you do not need to send an image of your PosePrints purchase…we have that image.)
  • Description*: Your description of the event, including your inspiration, any DIY projects you’re proud of, how you got engaged, your favorite part of the event, why you chose your venue, etc.!  (*Send as much or as little information as you would like; we can write up the post if you simply want to include a list of details.)
  • Vendor Credits: A list of vendor credits, including website URLs where applicable.  We especially must have the photographer’s credit.

We would be honored if you would consider submitting your wedding details for review.  And as an added bonus, if we choose your wedding for a Real Weddings post, you will get 10 free PosePrints cards!
