Florida Bride + PosePrints

We at PosePrints have been featured in Florida Bride Magazine! We are so thrilled to have this shout-out from such a great, fun, and helpful magazine, and we hope our Florida Bride readers who haven’t heard of us before stop by and have some fun on our site!

{Florida Bride Magazine}

The great part of being an internet-based company is that we are able to share our custom invitations, stationery, save-the-dates and all our unique caricature products globally—we may be based in San Francisco, but the good news is that anyone can order one of our products from their home and receive high-quality paper products within 3-5 days. We are so happy that all our Florida Brides can now create customizable, unique stationery and wedding programs that celebrate their special day. Brides all over are busy planning their special day and PosePrints is a way to make that process quick, fun, creative and different than run-of-the-mill invitations, save the dates and more.

The feature goes a little into the background of our company–Jen and her mother Denise used their skills as creative and business-savvy women to create a mother-daughter company that has been thriving since 2007. We are happy to know our company is flourishing and continues to reach creative brides all over–the type of bride who knows that her special day should be one to remember! With all of our products, you get to choose it all: eyebrows, hair color, lipstick, eye shape, hairstyle, accessories and clothing, and an unforgettable, unique and 100% customizable backdrop. We hope any readers from Florida Bride who decide to stop by have a blast trying out all the amazing options on our site and that invitation to play around to find the perfect match when it comes to your wedding extends to all our amazing brides the world over!

Modern Bridal Faire

My mom and I are headed back to our hometown of Pleasanton, California for the Modern Bridal Faire this Sunday, August 5th!

We’ve been wanting to exhibit PosePrints at a Pleasanton bridal show for awhile now (I grew up in Pleasanton and lived there until I left for college, and my mom lived there for 25+ years), so we’re thrilled it’s finally here!  We’ll be exhibiting all of our custom caricature wedding products at the show: Save-the-Date Cards, Save-the-Date Magnets, Rehearsal Dinner Invitations, Thank You Notes, Couples Wedding Shower Invitations, Bridal Shower Invitations, Bachelorette Party Invitations, Wedding Tags, and Wedding Ceremony Programs.

If you know any newly engaged brides and grooms attending the Modern Bridal Faire, please let them know about PosePrints’ booth!  We can’t wait to meet everyone — and see some familiar Pleasanton faces, too!

Style Me Pretty

PosePrints was featured in Style Me Pretty!

Well, it was our wedding that was featured, but PosePrints-made stationery enjoyed its Style Me Pretty debut.

Our wedding paper “suite” wasn’t entirely cohesive, because we were set on a few “musts”:

  • A Craigslist theme for the Save-the-Dates
  • Letterpress for the invitations
  • PosePrints caricatures for the programs

Here is a photo of our Save-the-Date Magnets from the SMP post (It’s a long story, but my husband and I wouldn’t have met without the help of Craigslist!):

And here are our simple, modern letterpress invitations featuring the Durham Ranch barn — designed by me, printed by Alan Hillesheim:

Our beloved Wedding Ceremony Program, featuring caricatures of me, my groom and our bridal party was shared, too:

C Weddings Magazine

We are thrilled to be included in the stunning Spring 2012 issue of C Weddings Magazine!

Circled above, the original PosePrints’ Wedding Ceremony Program was created for Jen’s wedding in September, 2011, and is featured in the current issue of C Weddings Magazine (page 109!).  The lovely affair was designed by the amazing Laurie Arons, of Laurie Arons Special Events, and was held at Durham Ranch in St. Helena, California.

Jen designed all of her own wedding stationery, and both her Bridal Party Invitations and Bachelorette Party Invitations featured her caricature. (I know, it’s sort of weird for a bride to design her own shower invitations, but our company isn’t exactly big enough for orders to go unnoticed by the Founders.  And she wanted PosePrints, okay?!)

When it came to the actual wedding day, however, she wanted to be more discreet with the family-biz-promotion — you know, because there’s probably a limit to the number of caricature products you should use for one wedding.  So she created the look-alikes of her bridal party for the inside of her Wedding Program, all printed inside a neat, tri-fold card with a pretty striped cover. (That also meant no bow-tying or hole-punching.  Bonus!)

After getting nothing but “how fun!” and “so unique!” and “I could tell who all of the bridesmaids were!” feedback on the programs, we decided to add them to PosePrints’ product line.

And here we are.  Click here to check out the different designs we offer, all of which are completely customizable — from colors and fonts to wording and caricatures.

Thank you, C Weddings Magazine!

Introducing…Wedding Ceremony Programs!

We launched our Ceremony Programs last week at the Bridal Showcase of California (review of that to come!), and our catalog of 5 designs is about to double in size!  Here are the designs we currently offer:

…..

(Left to right: Zig Zag Wedding Program, Polka-Dot Wedding Program, Striped Wedding Program, Modern Stripe Wedding Program, Solid Color Wedding Program)

All of our Wedding Program designs are tri-fold cards that can be customized with your choice of color(s), fonts and ceremony wording — and all feature look-alike caricatures of the bride, groom and bridal party on the inside:

You can customize up to 25 (25!) caricatures for your Wedding Program, including (but not limited to!) the bride, groom, bridesmaids, groomsmen, officiant, family, flower girl and ring bearer.  Even pets!  Our Art Team will work with you on every detail of your Wedding Program, which is ultimately printed on beautiful 110-lb. card stock.  Here’s a view to show the tri-fold nature of the programs:

And here’s a view of the Wedding Ceremony Programs in action at the September 2011 wedding of Jen (PosePrints’ Co-Founder):

Do you have any ideas for new Wedding Ceremony Program designs?  Smaller Chevron Stripes?  Larger Polka-Dots?  We love hearing from you, so please email us (Brides <at> PosePrints <dot> com) with any ideas, questions or comments!
